Aims and scope:

The global financial crisis has represented an important test for the European Union. The sovereign debt crisis, the Greek and Euro crisis, the rise of anti-Establishment and eurosceptic parties, the conflict in Ukraine, the threat of a referendum on EU membership in the UK, are just a few examples of the challenges faced by the European Union in the context of the current crisis. When many countries are showing some signs of recovery, the EU has come out with profound wounds. In this summer school we will analyse the nature and the causes of these wounds, as well as some possible ways to try to heal them.
