EUROSCI Network offers ten scholarships for teacher training course

The EUROSCI Network offers up to 10 scholarships for its intensive course in Online teaching in international higher education starting 6 July 2020. Scholarships are reserved for teachers at EUROSCI Network partner institutions, with a limit of one scholarship per institution.

The course is aimed at experienced teachers with a PhD or equivalent and a minimum of three years of teaching experience in higher education. It covers all main aspects of online teaching in international environments, from hardware and software to international collaboration and outreach.

In this course you will be part of a reduced class of up to 15 participants. For three weeks, you will have two weekly 1h meetings plus assignments, which will allow you to cover the main topics of the course and prepare a capstone project. This final project will consist in a public livestreamed lecture on the EUROSCI Network channel, delivered by you with the assistance of a small team of colleagues, in which you will have to apply and demonstrate all you have learned throughout the course. After completing all the course requirements and successfully delivering this final capstone project, you will receive a certificate of proficiency in online teaching in international higher education.

Applications should be submitted to local EUROSCI Network co-ordinators by 30 June.
